Neutrik, the world’s leading provider of professional AVL connectivity solutions, announces a new line of Halo products. Neutrik Halo products include a new patented light ring and an asymmetrical non-metallic push tab in the design of the company’s popular A-Series chassis connectors. Neutrik will be at Booth N1413 at the InfoComm Show in Las Vegas June 8-10.
Halo product options include NC3FAH2-LR-DAE and NC5FAH-LR-DAE female XLR connectors, NC3MAH-LR and NC5MAH-LR male XLR connectors, and NE8FAH-LR-DAE etherCON connectors. By placing one or two SMD LEDs on the board, the connectors can be illuminated to provide useful and attractive visual feedback such as input detection, transfer status, connection status, phantom power, operation mode indication, and other useful information.
The new Neutrik halo is an innovative, forward-looking alternative to light guides. Thanks to the standard panel cutout, no additional holes for the light tubes are required. These connectors provide increased visibility compared to light guides and can display different colors on the left and right side of the connector – all resulting in a visual appeal that is both visually appealing and informative design element.
The Neutrik Halo product range features asymmetrical composite pressure tabs to minimize ESD issues. The matte, non-reflective label surface minimizes light reflection, providing clear visual feedback. Asymmetrical placement allows for shorter vertical spacing between rows of connectors compared to standard designs where the label is centered at the top. Compared with the standard push-pull push-pull, the push-pull has a larger area, and the halo design is easier to use.
Fred Morgenstern, Vice President of Technology, Neutrik Americas, commented: “The new patented Neutrik Halo product offers users a number of benefits. These include an eye-catching halo that provides rich visual feedback while eliminating the need for a hole in the bezel. light guides. Their secure ESD material ensures a secure connection without worrying about static electricity, and they provide an easy upgrade path for products that use existing connectors. For OEMs interested in integrating Halo light rings, they design offer functional and aesthetic differentiation opportunities. ”
